A Night With The Compozers 3 was a night that kickstarted 2016 by a milestone – I’ve always been a big lover of live music and concerts, but the concept behind the Compozers and how they perform their sets are unique, different, and rarely seen elsewhere.
When I say they can literally make a cover of ANY song – I mean it! Whether that’s Michael Jackson, Robin Thicke, Afrobeats artist Wizkid, and more. I left this concert ensuring that this overly talented group of musicians shall one day perform at my wedding. The dynamic group consists of Charles "BIGGZ" Mensah - Keyboard / Producer, David "MELO DEE" Akrasi
Keyboard/Keytar/Arranger, Nana "POKES" Ntorinkansah - Bass Guitar/Bass Synth and Steven "DrummerboySJ" Asamoah-Duah - Drummer.
Just when I wanted to know a bit more about the musical geniuses, pauses came at parts of the show, displaying videos to the audience of who these talented men are, where they started from, and how far they’ve come with the support from people who simply love their display of music.
They’ve collaborated with Fuse ODG performing at last year’s Wireless festival, as well as Sean Paul and many other talented artists. What a way to kickstart the year – great things are in store for The Compozers – I definitely got that feeling after experiencing one of the best nights out in a while.
